The whole class 1506 were disappointed that our final seminar presentation was forced to be adapted into a virtual event due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but meanwhile, we deeply appreciate all the kindness and encouragement from the principal, directors, section chiefs, teachers, advisors and parents. Without their support and assistance, the event would definitely not be possible.

 

As the event coordinator, I had a much stronger feeling about the crisis, when the school was shut down a week before our big day. While the impact of the pandemic was disrupting all the plans, I felt so blessed to have the best team and the most reliable support from HSNU to ride out the storm. Thanks to the significant contributions made by these people, the event turned out to be a fresh and unforgettable experience. 

 

At the top of the list are the team members, especially vice-coordinators Ryder and Lucy and the division leaders, including Jocelyn, Berry, Miriam, Holly, and Christine. Having them as my partners was a matter of privilege for me. Together, we managed to overcome the challenges that the pandemic brought about, and I was stunned by their rapid and intelligent response to the obstacles.

 

In addition, I highly value the guidance and thoughtfulness that our homeroom teacher, Rebecca Lai, provided. Ms. Lai is one of the most open-minded and supportive teachers I’ve ever met. When any problems or questions about the event arose, Ms. Lai was always there for help. It’s been a period of enjoyable and pleasurable time working with my teacher.

 

I would like to give special thanks to our Chinese literature advisor Ms. Li-chen Huang and our advisor Ms. Grace Yu, who were always ready to help. Also, they always had faith in us, which meant a lot to the teenagers.

 

Also, I would like to thank Mr. Chien-tsang Hung and Mr. Howard Jian. Without the patient help of Mr. Hung, a professional drama advisor, we could not have made our play into a reality. And without the guidance of Mr. Jian, a professional interpreter, we would not have realized how much we could better our presentation.       

 

We were very fortunate to have the help and support from the Chief and officer of the curriculum development section, Ms. Chiao-jou Li and Ms. Li-yan Wu, and the Chief of music education section, Ms. Han-wei Sun. Though it had been a hard time dealing with the pandemic, they always encouraged me when I turned to them for help. To some, communicating with chiefs and teachers might be a tough challenge, but it’s certainly not the case for me.

 

Also, I greatly appreciate the support and timely help from our Principal Ms. Shu-li Wang, Director of Academic Affairs, Ms. Ya-ping Chen, Director of Library, Ms. Casey Tsai, and Parents’ Association. Regarding the Class for Language Talented Students as a major part of the development of the school, they had been helpful whenever needs arose. I hope that our works do live up to their expectations and are able to inspire future students of the Class for Language Talented Students.

 

Finally, I am deeply thankful for the unconditional love and support from all of the parents of the whole class. We are so blessed with the compassion and loving-kindness of our parents and siblings, who always put up with our mood swings and patiently inspired us to move on. Without their company, we could not have reached the destination.

 

儘管1506全班同學對於在COVID-19疫情的影響之下，只能以線上活動呈現辛苦準備的成果難免感到失望，我們仍深切感謝校長、主任、組長、老師、講師和家長的鼓勵和支持。沒有他們，本活動絕對不可能圓滿舉行。

 

身為總召，我對於所遭遇的困境有更強烈的感覺和印象。在我們正式成發前一周，學校突然因為疫情而被迫關閉，雖然疫情打亂了所有計劃，我仍然感到相當幸運能擁有學校和團隊最可靠的支持來度過難關。因為這些人的幫助，本活動成為一次新鮮而難忘的經驗。

 

首先，我想感謝我的團隊，尤其是副召晟傑、宥竹以及各組別的組長—汶凌、柏諭、皓明、美仁和其蓁。擁有他們作為我的合作夥伴對我來說是一種榮幸。我們一起想辦法克服了疫情帶來的挑戰，他們對這些困境快速而明智的反應也讓我深深感到佩服。

 

再來，我對於我的導師賴香如老師提供的指導和體貼感到無比感激。老師面對學生相當開明，而且永遠都會支持我們。當活動出現任何問題或阻礙時，老師也總是非常樂意幫助我們，和老師合作是一段非常愉快的時光。

 

接著，我要特別感謝國文暨專題研究老師黃麗禎老師以及英文專題研究老師余佳玟老師。他們一直對我們充滿信心，這對身為青少年的我們來說意義重大。

 

我還要感謝專業戲劇老師洪健藏老師和專業口譯員簡德浩老師。如果沒有洪老師和簡老師的耐心指導，我們的戲劇和演講將很難達到理想的水準。

 

此外，我們很幸運能得到實驗研究組組長李巧柔組長、實驗研究組幹事巫莉妍老師和音樂組組長孫涵薇組長的幫助和支持。儘管疫情下困難重重，當我尋求幫助時，他們總是會鼓勵我，使我更加有動力。

 

另外，也非常感謝校長王淑麗校長、教務處主任陳雅萍主任、圖書館主任蔡正儀主任和家長會的幫助和支持。語文資優班一直在學校發展當中扮演重要的角色，因此我希望我們的作品沒有辜負他們的期望，也能夠啟發未來語文資優班的學弟妹。

 

最後，感謝全班家長無條件的愛與支持。他們總是能承受我們的情緒波動，並耐心地鼓勵我們繼續前進。沒有他們的陪伴，我們不可能達成全班的共同目標。
